How long does the membership year last?
ITechLaw memberships run annually from July 1 – June 30. New members will pay pro-rated dues based on the month they join of the current year; their membership would lapse on June 30 of the following year. Members will be contacted in April of the current year, 90 days in advance of the 30 June expiry date, to renew for the upcoming membership year (1 July of the current year, expiring 30 June of the following year).

What are the payment options for membership?
All of our memberships must be purchased in U.S. Dollars. We can accept credit card, ACH/Wire and Check Payments.
To pay via Credit Card, please log in to your account and click on the Renew or Pay button.
Please mail all check payments to the below address and include the member’s full name and invoice/reference number in the memo.

I am a student. How can I get involved with ITechLaw?
ITechLaw welcomes all current law students to our membership. We have a special law student rate of $40 USD. We encourage students to join us for any of our in-person conferences or virtual webinars.
Student Volunteers
To help our conferences run smoothly, we are also looking for student/associate volunteers to assist with assembling attendee materials, registration, and room monitoring, among other duties. All volunteers receive complimentary conference registration and a complimentary year of membership. Any volunteer who works at least 2 slots may attend the rest of the conference complimentary. Attendance is of high value and provides the opportunity to network with experienced lawyers with a variety of specialties from more than 45 countries. ITechLaw does not cover any hotel or lodging costs, so we encourage you to volunteer for a conference in your own city.

Do I get a membership discount if more than one lawyer from the same firm joins ITechLaw?
ITechLaw offers individual and group membership options – each offers the same benefits! Law Firms and Corporations that would like to extend an ITechLaw membership to more than 5 individuals are encouraged to consider a law firm or corporate membership.
My membership has expired and it is not allowing me to renew again. How do I renew or reinstate my membership again?
All non-renewed or inactive memberships are terminated after the 90-day grace period has ended, post the 30 June expiry date. If your membership has expired and it’s been past the 90 grace period past the expiry date of 30 June, you will need to rejoin as a New member and might be subject to higher pro-rated dues. Sign into your profile, and Purchase a New Membership (Note: the Rejoin/Renew button will not work.)
My membership costs different than what is listed on the website.
New memberships dues are pro-rated based on the month joined in the current year. The membership would lapse on June 30 of the following year (up to 18 months and as short as 7 months). New members who join in January – June of the current year will pay dues for the remainder of the dues cycle (approximately 6 months of the current year, in addition to the 12 months of the following year (between 13-18 months total). The membership will always expire on 30 June of the following year.
I am a member of the Silicon Valley Arbitration and Mediation Center. How do I activate my discounted membership?
ITechLaw has a partnership with the Silicon Valley Arbitration and Mediation Center for a discounted joint membership of $100 USD with ITechLaw and $60 USD with SVAMC. Create your profile, then contact ITechLaw staff to have this added to your profile. You’ll then be instructed to purchase your membership at the discounted rate. Are there discounted membership rates for members who reside in World Bank-designated Region 2 Countries?
ITechLaw offers Region 2 membership rates for countries that represent low-income and lower-middle-income economies as listed by the World Bank. When you create a profile, your membership rate is calculated automatically based on your country indication.
Qualifying Region 2 Countries:
