Startup Committee

The Startup Committee is focused on legal issues that start-ups face and best practices for lawyers to provide practical, cost-effective advice on these issues. Sample issues will include IP protection strategies for start-ups, crowdfunding and other alternative funding models, dealing with incubators/accelerators and addressing regulatory issues where innovative business models are ahead of existing laws.

The Committee provides the Association and its members with a platform to collect, discuss, and disseminate current information, forms and checklists on these and related topics, and to webinars, conference programming, association publications and policy proposals.
This Committee will also collaborate with other ITechLaw Committees, as well as the broader legal community, on matters of common interest. If you are an ITechLaw member, view the community page for more details.
