Kevin Erdman’s practice focuses on advising software and internet-centric businesses about the legal landscape. Mr. Erdman deals with intellectual property in all aspects, from patent and trademark issues to privacy, commercial, and advertising concerns in today’s complex and evolving computing and telecommunications environment.
Starting out using his computer science degree in intellectual property boutique firms, Mr. Erdman joined general practice firms and dealt with various commercial and IP transactions in the software and internet technologies and industries, both domestic and international. Mr. Erdman is also the General Counsel of an internet payment platform company, PayAsOne LLC, and is the inventor on one of their patent applications.
Mr. Erdman is active in several legal and technical organizations, and presents on various intellectual property subjects. Often attending ITechLaw, FICPI, INTA, and international soccer events, Mr. Erdman draws on a network of international legal specialists to achieve legal solutions. In today’s dynamic business/technological/legal situations, Mr. Erdman calls on these resources to formulate legal strategies for effectively meeting legal and business needs—from crafting a patent portfolio strategy to architecting a global customer data service strategy.
