Claire Bernier co-heads the IP/IT practice at her law firm. With postgraduate qualifications in IP/IT Law and in Criminal Law (University of Paris II, University of Bristol (UK) and Institute of Criminal Sciences of Poitiers), she is an expert in IP and IT as well as in White Collar Crime, practicing both as a litigator and in counselling.

As a Criminal Law Referent at the Paris Bar, in addition to her practice in all areas of IP/IT, Ms. Bernier has acknowledged expertise concerning White Collar litigation, particularly involving aspects of Intellectual Property (civil and criminal litigation of counterfeiting) or related to new technologies (virus, hacking, data theft, fraud involving information systems, invasion of privacy, and so on). She has also developed expertise in the field of personal data (issues related to the French data protection watchdog, and civil or criminal litigation related to personal data) and is familiar with litigation before specialized organizations such as the National Commission of IT and Liberty or the National Commission of Inventions of Employees.

Among other independent market recommendations, Legal 500 France 2011 mentioned her as a specialist in personal data and noted "her in-depth technical knowledge of the IT field."
