2012 European Conference Speaker Information
On behalf of ITechLaw, thank you for speaking at the 2012 European Conference, 10-12 October in Rome, Italy. We expect this year's event to be a huge success, and look forward to your participation.
It is the mission of ITechLaw - and the expectation of our members - that our conferences reflect the best of the best of technology law speakers and cutting-edge content. Attendees at our conferences have high expectations of the quality of our conferences, due equally to the technical expertise and presentations skills of our valued speakers, as well as the lasting value of the materials acquired at the conference. Speakers who do not fulfill their obligations, including the submission of the conference paper, will unfortunately, not be invited as speakers for future conferences.
Below is information that you will find helpful as you make preparations for the conference in Rome. Please send all materials to your session moderator and ITechLaw Member Services in advance of their associated deadlines.

Bio & Photo - Deadline: 15 August 2012
Please submit a 150-word bio in Word (bios longer than 150 words will be edited for length), and a 300 dpi resolution in .jpg or .eps (high resolution is required for print materials).
Hotel Booking - Deadline: 29 August 2012
A block of guestrooms has been set aside at the Rome Cavalieri Hotel at a discounted rate of €310.00 per night plus 10% VAT for single use, €360 per night plus 10% VAT for double occupancy. The discounted rate includes continental breakfast and has been blocked for 5 October until 16 October 2012. The discounted rate is available until 29 August, based on availability. Book your room.
Conference Registration - Deadline: 14 September 2012
Speakers and moderators receive a complimentary registration for the conference. All speakers and moderators must register. To register, please go to the conference registration page and choose the Speaker category. Please refer to the speaker code distributed via email by ITechLaw Member Services to complete your registration.
Paper & Presentation - Deadline: 21 September 2012
- Speakers are required to submit an article/paper that presents your topic in an in-depth manner. Please refer to the Paper Template for formatting. Papers submitted in the approved template will be eligible for inclusion in the 2012 European Conference Proceedings, a bound book of the papers presented during the conference.
- Speakers are required to submit a PowerPoint presentation in accordance with your session topic. Please see the ITechLaw Speaker Guidelines & Policy for additional detail.
